Don began his career 36 years ago with the prestigious Crown Life Brokerage General Agent's Association, a network of the industry's top General Agencies where at the age of 19 years old he became the youngest Brokerage General Agent in the history of the organization.
In 1980 he transitioned into partner status with the RELee Group, purported to be (at the time) the nation's leading life insurance support group, prior to their successful merger into their current structure, responsible for growing the offices in both Guadalajara and Tijuana.
From the RELee Group Don moved on to Potomac West, where he was instrumental in building their large case department, lending support to the first agent in the history of the industry to ever receive more than $100,000,000 of commission income in a single calendar year while also (along with his partner) successfully designed and negotiated the Power Play program for American General.
Stepping down from partner status at Potomac West, Don accepted a one year contract to lead the sales and marketing department for the esteemed Producer's Group successfully increasing the implementation rate of issued contracts to 82% while also increasing the weekly application submission count by 142%.
Don subsequently joined the Advanced Planning Division of Bisys-Potomac (a public company). During his tenure at Bisys-Potomac Don consistently produced individual policy transactions that were more than 20 times the company average while also increasing the size of his team's national footprint by almost 800%.
It is from this background that the TKS companies were birthed … a network of six sister companies all working together to design and implement high end life insurance strategies ... well schooled and experienced in all of the SIX of the components of the sale ... including advisor interaction and source of money.
TKS consistently helps their clients gain momentum in each of the key measurements of business viability : the number of prospective cases, shortened processing times, and placed revenue ... gaining TKS national recognition as the authority on *perpetual motion* both within and for the life insurance industry.
Armed with the experience of these prior projects, Don agreed to join Counsel Resource in January of 2010 as adjunct professor to provide instruction for estate planning (and business) attorneys in the science of successfully implementation of estate planning solutions.
